The Jagenberg Group's upskilling and mentoring program, JUMP, has entered the next stage.
In May, a 2-day workshop for the mentees took place in Wiehl. Together with our partner ime, the Institute for Management Development, the participants worked on the following topics:
• Self-reflection and perception of others (“How am I and how are others?”)
• Effective teamwork (“How does teamwork work? How can I contribute?”)
One highlight of the two days was a joint team event to which the former mentees were also invited. The interaction and networking within the interdisciplinary team was greatly appreciated by the participants and the organizers were also satisfied with how the workshop went. „The mentees are very motivated and contribute really well, which makes the workshop incredibly rewarding. I'm sure that the participants will learn a lot for their personal development,“ summarizes Heinrich Thorwesten, HR Development Specialist at Jagenberg GmbH.
The internal JUMP program started in January 2025 and is part of the Jagenberg Group Academy. The aim is to prepare 13 young employees (mentees) for future challenges. They are each supported by an experienced employee as a mentor. JUMP strengthens the individual skills of talented and motivated employees from all Jagenberg Group companies and promotes a strong, cross-company network.
Over the 15-month project period, the mentees and mentors take part in various workshops, work together on group projects and are supported by external coaches in their personal and professional development.
